We are home.
062209 4983 001
Much fun was had by all.

062209 4984 001
Mountains of laundry, a dirty house, little food (as I neglected those duties before our trip).

062209 4988 001
Glad to be home now.

062209 4986 001
Recouping in anticipation of our summer schedule (it's something of a doozy, but in a good way) beginning on Monday.

062209 4989 001
Grateful for the experience of the past week.

I've never understood, and still don't, despite having read descriptions and seen pictures, how the male sperm gets from his hole to hers...

@ToReadYou - I thought the same thing when I took these?  Where exactly is the contact and how does the sperm flow?

Great minds.

Said mother Tern to baby Tern,
"Would you like a brother?"

"Yes" said baby Tern,
"One good Tern deserves another"

(If you don't call them Terns over there, it probably makes no sense!)

@pixie_taker - What an adorable rhyme!  I believe they are called terns here, though I didn't realize that's what they were until you said so.  I thought they were seagulls... which I think are not terns.

Look like common terns.

Terns and Gulls -often found in the same area.
Terns are sleeker/more streamlined than Gulls.

From the book. " Most terns resemble small gulls, with longer wings, deeply forked tail and thinner pointed bills"
